My name is Ashley, but I'm not including a photo. I don't have a
scanner or a digital camera, so it's not possible. Hope you're all
enjoying the winter weather. I'm doing my part by staying inside
as much as possible where it's warm. Personally, I spend as little
time out in the sun as possible. I'm a natural redhead, and I have
the fair skin to prove it. Even 30 minutes of sun can make me burn.
Isn't this beach gorgous? It's in Hawaii, although I don't know exactly
where. If anybody knows where it is or it's name, I would love to know.
I got to visit Hawaii March of 1997 for 2 weeks and it was wonderful! Wish
I could have stayed longer. Oddly enough, I only swam in the ocean
1 time while I was there. We went to a beautiful spot on Oahu, just outside
Honolulu (north I believe), called Hanauma Bay. It is a protected coral
reef full of fish and other ocean critters (Mom got scared by an eel).
Most people snorkel, although the day we went, there was a scuba class
there. However, my tired and computer-glazed eyes are way too blind to
snorkel without prescription goggles. I just tried to stay off the very
sharp coral (OUCH!) and to pet the fish.
